I spike lunarisms... no, I like spoonerisms. Such wordplay is interfering with my traditional hobby of ornithological observation; thus it is that instead of bird-watching, I’m word-botching.
A spoonerism of “Will and Kate” is “Kill and Wait”. Another is “Wit and Kale”. Another is “Kit and Wail”. Their Height Royal Finenesses aren’t best impressed: I recently heard one exclaiming, “Off with Hunk-an’s Dead! Oh, fudge, now I’m doing it.”
