Of course, I knew David Cameron would become Prime Minister. His surname is an anagram of “core man”.
According to a boy called R, the word “politics” stems from two words. Poli means “many”, and ticks means “small blood-sucking arachnids”.
Both the leader and the deputy leader of the Scottish National Party appear to like fish. One’s called Alex Salmond and the other is Nicola Sturgeon.
Here is my version of the political spectrum. This version is based on the parties’ official colours. As some parties have more than one official colour, those parties appear multiple times on the diagram. Notice how few parties have blue or indigo as an official colour! Other parties probably don’t want to be confused with the Conservatives or BNP.
